This gathering included important consultations with key nations such as Australia, Japan, China, and South Korea, addressing various border management and immigration challenges.


Collaborative Discussions on Immigration Issues

A series of preliminary meetings took place on August 13, comprising the ASEAN Heads of Major Immigration Checkpoints Forum and other specialized working groups. These sessions emphasized recent trends in illegal migration and human trafficking, as well as strategies for enhancing regional security and efficiency in immigration processes.
